Man of War

Little did Pharoah know that even though he was the most powerful man in the world, it was God who raised him up as the ruler of Egypt (Exodus 9:15 / Romans 9:17 & 22-23). Moses tells the story (from Exodus 15) and declares the power and majesty of the Most High God who delivered His people from the hand of Pharoah and then destroyed him and his army in front of their eyes. The Pharoah is a type of the Antichrist whom God will also raise up someday to subdue the people of the earth and even attempt to destroy God’s people who refuse to take his mark (Revelation 13:7, 15). Never forget that whatever happens in the future, God’s people must keep their eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2), overcome the onslaught coming against us (Revelation 3:21) and defy the Antichrist by the power of the Blood Covenant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:11). Jesus Christ Himself will ultimately destroy the Antichrist and his armies forever (Revelation 19:11-21). Jesus Christ is God and His promises will be fulfilled. Just like Moses watched God destroy Pharoah and his army, we will someday watch Jesus Christ destroy the Antichrist and his army. He is returning as a Man of war.
